The Earth Laughs in Flowers
Spring is springing — at least, it’s springing here in Palm Desert. The days are warmer, the pool is getting warmer, and the dogs are shedding like crazy. Because of our wet (for us) winter, the wildflowers are out in full force and can even be seen from space.
(Speaking of space, have you seen the footage of NASA’s Ingenuity flying all over Mars? There truly are no limits to what mankind can do when we put our minds to it.)
The great thing about spring is that it really does feel like a time of renewal. Ideas come quicker and I’m full of inspiration and energy … which is very good timing because I’ve got a garage full of skulls that are ready for their faces. And that’s also kind of a problem because of … well… space. Gearing up for these summer shows means there’s a lot of inventory that needs to be stored.
Think about where in your house you have room to stack 100 heads.
While I wouldn’t exactly call my garage the final frontier (wait maybe I will), it’s definitely the room where I feel the most potential. The most energy.
Or it could be the fumes.
But in all seriousness, it’s where each of my creations begins to take form and develop personality. Which makes it my favorite space.
Happy Spring to you all.
